about a burglary at Marylands, made interesting by the fact a child was in the room and slept through it, the servants waited for Mr Wadlow to return home to break into the room, despite the child inside.
Also worth reading is Mr Wadlow's account of his search for the Police Station in Deacon St which apparently looked like a Nunnery and he was doubtful about entering in the middle of the night; and when he did enter he found Peterborough police didn't cover Dogsthorpe and he had to contact the Gaol.
