I found a Thomas Turner in the 1851 Census, a baker and grocer, however he was also in the 1861 Census, and so the clipping above didn't relate to him.

Then I found George Turner born 1811 who married Jane Parker of Slys Farm and was actually living there in 1851. I found his mother Rebecca in the 1841 and 1851 census, but no sign of a husband. She died in Jul 1853, which makes me think Thomas had died before 1841 but made provision in his will for his wife until her death. Unfortunately I have been unable to find Thomas'  will or marriage or death certificates to prove my theory.
